Easy-going restaurant for tourists

Emma | Nov 26, 2002 06:51 AM

I am looking for a restaurant around Time Square, Rockefeller Plaza, Central Park (main tourist areas) etc as we are visiting from England on Dec 6th for four nights. We want something a little special, but not pretentious - my worst fear is turning up to eat and feeling like a fish out of water all night! So - something special but not too posh. Am I making sense?! I would love something with amazing views - something like a view of the ice rink or central park, but somewhere that would be helpful to tourists (first time NYC visitors at that!) and welcoming. We are going to do the "touristy" things and visit Mars 2112 and Marriot Marquis, but on our last night we fancy something a bit more grown up! Thanks in advance.
