I go thru ridiculous amounts of q and a when I go to a new restaurant, attempting to determine if any of the foods have MSG, or monsodium glutamate.
It's amazing to me how many waitstaff don't even know what it is. And very few realize that it is often a hidden ingredient in a lot of different ingredient names, such as hydrolyzed or autolyzed anything.
Is there a list somewhere, of all the major restaurants that do NOT use MSG?
