I am brand new to Chowhound, but it looks like a great site! I was hoping someone could help me with making a large lunch for about 85 people in a very conservative space. Each year my quilt guild hosts the "Quilt-In" where 85 people come together for a three day weekend of quilting. The women stay in our community center and spend the weekend quilting. We feed them for those three days using our very conservatively sized kitchen. It just has one regular stove, one sink, and a couple of fridges. I am quite well-known for my soup, so that is always on the menu at lunch, as well as a sandwich of some kind. I am running out of ideas for sandwiches and hoped you all could help me. I saw some recipes in a couple of early 1980's cookbooks which made baked sandwiches using brad dough stuffed with different fillings, and then baked to make a hot, fresh sandwich. Do you know of such recipes? Thanks a million. I hope I can do some good for someone on this site too.
