after getting booted from PDT, we headed over to get some healthy food (I didn't want anyone bacon-wrapped, avocado-slathered, fried hot dogs). the cramped space was full of desserts but I was looking for savory. walked out with a vegan burrito rico, and a handful of raw flax and sundried tomato crackers. the verdict? the flaxseed crackers were gross, but made me feel virtuous, seeing as it was pure flax seed, held together by sundried tomato somehow. can't describe it but, tastes healthy. the burrito was crazy, a tortilla filled with avocado, plantain, beans, peppers, and all other manner of goodies. the veg was barely cooked, processed or even chopped, and I got through 3 bites before deciding it'd be better as tomorrow's lunch. really quite good, and extremely filling.

the place was a little kooky, but there was a lot of delicious-looking stuff. surely its been around a long time (were there some eviction problems last year) but, seems like it always has and I'm glad.
