More changes re: dumpling shacks in Flushing

There has been some confusing changes to the dumpling shack on 40th rd. It used to be 2 shacks sharing a common wall, the one closer to Main street the Northern, the other Southern. Then they tore down the wall, and the now "Northern Pasta House" has the whole space. The Southern people named themselves "Authentic Dumpling House", and moved into a new, bigger space that's now almost immediate off Main street, just after the fruit stands and the pottery and shoe place.

So, for those who loved the boiled dumplings(on the menu as Steamed Dumplings), you want to go to the Northern Pasta House.

I'm not knocking the Southern place, though. Just haven't compared their dumplings, yet. I always go to the now "Northern Pasta House" for their consistantly good dumplings and northern style won ton soup. The Sourthern(or now the "Authentic Dumpling House") had at frist started as quite a good southern won ton place, with the pounded-pork wrappers and all, that offered only a small menu, and then gradually, the menu got bigger, the place changed hands, and the quality of the southern won tons went down the last time I had it. Now they are offering southern as well as some northern style dumplings, but I just can't get myself to try them, yet.
