Long before there was ana L'Ermitage on La Cienega one used to go to fancy or European restaurnats and get a half a whole roast duck (Let's see! King's Arms, Queens Arms, The Little Hungarian on Fairfax, Jerry Lewis' on the Sunset Strip, two or three others on the Sunset strip). Generally the duck can L 'Orange or Montmorency or as at the Hungarian just roast. Where does one go to get this now. I have been recommended to Le Petit Bistro in Santa Monica and am looking for other recs. Thanks!
