We enjoyed a wonderful Easter brunch yesterday at Ducey's on the Lake in Bass Lake. The buffet was set up in three different stations and everything was outstanding. The appetizer station consisted of shrimp cocktails, smoked salmon, veggies, and a Caesar or green salad with various dressings. Also, all kinds of fresh fruits and melons.
The main buffet was either a breakfast menu which consisited of : eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, sausage, cottage potatoes, Belgian waffles or you could have a made-to-order omellete from the kitchen.
I chose the lunch items which were soooooo good: a salmon dish, a hot pasta dish, rack of lamb, sliced roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes, saffron rice, all very flavorful and delicious.
For desserts there were: cheesecake with raspberry sauce, a chocolate mousse with whipped cream, pumpkin cheesecake and a chocolate torte cake. Also various fresh baked pasteris which were very flaky and very good.
I only do buffets once or twice a year and this is my favorite place. I would recommend it to anyone for a nice Easter brunch after church. No one left hungry, I could have stayed there all afternoon nibbling and enjoying!!!! www.basslake.com ***kim***
