I'm thinking of doing dinner at ADNY before they close in August, but none of my cash-poor friends can go, and I'm not at all averse to going solo...however this does feel a little weird to me, particularly as they have only one seating...

I've never been to Ducasse and I don't know that this would be a violent faux pas or no. But I do know that Mr. Keller welcomes solo diners and even gifts them extra courses and little treats...

So what's the consensus? Should I bring a copy of Proust and go, or stay home and eat stamed kale and brown rice?
