As part of a business trip (life is tough sometimes) I will be staying at the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo at the beginning of April. So I am wondering about the Louis XV restaurant. Has anyone eaten there recently? And would the chef's table be a good idea? Is the chefs table even possible for only two persons? How would one best attempt to book the chefs table? Any dishes that tend to be on the menu most of the time that should not be missed? Any better alternative in Monte Carlo or a short taxi drive away? For background, I really enjoy classical cooking with few but perfect ingredients with great wine (Lucas Carton). I have had two great meals at Ducasse old restaurant in Paris before he moved to the Athenee address (and when he was probably on site a lot).
