Lately I've been enjoying about a cup full of fresh fruit -- bananas, strawberries, peaches, blueberries, whatever -- dumped in the blender jar, then filled with organic 2% milk until the fruit is just covered, then whirr the blazes out of it. Really thick and really good.
Today I thought I'd look up some smoothie recipes on the web to see if I'm missing anything, and apparently I'm completely missing "smoothies." I don't use ice or yogurt or powders or cereals or avacados or anything but fresh or frozen fruit and milk. So does anybody know what I'm drinking?
And do any of you make this drink? Have a fave?
