Is dried cilantro worth keeping on hand?

For instance, tonight I want to make a vegetarian chili recipe and all I'm missing is the fresh cilantro. It would be great if dried cilantro worked fairly well in an application like this. Opinions?

I can see where there is no substitute for it in something like guacamole.
