Tasty Thursdays at Nathan Phillips Square | Jul 14, 2005 12:41 PM

Tasty Thursdays at Nathan Phillips Square are back. The events run every Thursday from now until late August and feature live music and 8 or 10 food booths operated by local restaurants, each of which offer food for about $5. I just enjoyed a huge portion of pad Thai, chicken satay and green mango salad from Satay on the Road. It was surprisingly good, and great value for a total of $5! The longest line-ups were for this booth, the Real Jerk, Dangerous Dan's, Rasoee and the Purple Pig. The full list of musicians, restaurants and menus is down below. Get there early. By 12:30 there were pretty serious line-ups, despite this unbelievable heat!
