Downtown Clearwater - Thai Food

Little T. | Jun 22, 200508:21 PM

As a result of having a new job in downtown Clearwater, it is time to start finding good places to eat.

Today, my taste buds took me to Chiang Mai Thai Restaurant in downtown Clearwater Florida. To make a long story short, I will be going back. Reasonably priced lunch specials, 5.95 - 7.95 including spring roll and soup.

I had the Red Curry with chicken. It was average, not great, but good. Like I said, I will go back. Very busy during lunch. The insides are nicely decorated and very CLEAN (important in my book).

Next door is actually a Cajun place, which I will be checking out.

Also, just opened, is Cafe Milano. According to my company's COO:

"Cafe Milano, located at 105 N. Ft. Harrison (between Hendricks & Drew),
represents the heart of Italy, located in beautiful downtown Clearwater.

The chef is direct from Milan and creates authentic Italian pizza. He
uses only the finest ingredients, imported from Italy, to prepare the
best pizza you've ever tasted. Along with pizza, he also serves delicious
panini, fresh salads, and offers a wide variety of pastries (his pastries
are flown in from Italy every week). Chef Ugo Moi is looking forward to
meeting you. Please visit and enjoy!

Cafe Milano is open from 11 a.m. - midnight, Mondays thru Thursdays.
11 a.m. - 1 a.m., Fridays & Saturdays and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Phone: 444-4504"

I will report back on both Cafe Milano and the cajun place.

For reference, Chiang Mai is located at 415 Cleveland St. Phone number (727) 461-0414.
