Hit this joint last week. Pretty bad. We had heard rumblings that it was no longer part of the Mario's family of restaurants, which could explain the serious decline. If Mario still owns it, he's clearly not paying attention.
The sandwiches, which used to be served on really good ciabatta, were barely mediocre. My brother, Orson W., got his on inferior ciabatta, while mine just came on a mushy sub roll, and the roasted peppers were seriously acidic.
There are too many joints for sandwiches in Boca to waste a meal on mediocrity. Boo hiss!
