Whenever I try to make homemade doughnuts, I have the same problem: one side is rounded and the other comes out flat (even though the oil temperature is constant and I turn the doughnuts). The recipes I have used (I tried a lot of them, and always had similar results) have no yeast in them (just leaveners). Maybe that's the problem? Can someone please chime in and/or contribute their TNT recipes? TIA!
