It seems that every city that you visit is known for a particular junk food item that can be bought just about anytime anywhere.
In Chicago, their junk food of choice would be pizza puff/gyros/italian beef.
In LA, it seems that the "doughnut" fits the bill. Never have I seen so many 24hr donut shops. Can anyone fill us in on the history of that craze?
Is my theory "sticking" or am I out in left field?
