Went there with friends last night for the first time. Was reveiewed in NY Times while we were on vacation in August, so we hadn't heard about it. Any additions to Northern Westchetser dining are always welcome (SOMEONE please open a Thai restaurant up here!)
Pretty nice meal, although uneven. Four varied, good, fresh salads as appetizers. Wild Mushroom ravioli with arugala was tasty, but seemed to have a bit of grit in the 'schrooms. Friends had halibut, which was very good. My husband unfortunately had chicken napoleon. Chicken breast overcooked, and since when do portobellos mushrooms have no flavor? Mixed drinks very tasty. Dessert ok - a molten chocolate cake, perhaps 1 minute overdone re: not as much molten as I like, with good cinnamon/coconut ice cream. Pass on the Guiness ice cream - starts out good, then tastes like beer. Good service, pleasant decor. A good addition to the 'hood, will stick with simple foods on the menu, which they seem to do well.
