Domani (Hillsdale)

ELA | Feb 2, 201509:03 AM

Had dinner a while back at Domani (Hillsdale). This is the old Bensi, which was apparently bought out by management or something of the like. Now independently owned (I believe they bought another Bensi location as well), this place seems to be doing well.

Here's an article on the place...

There's an in-depth, strong menu, a lot there to look at and a lot of options and flexibility. They were very quick to accomodate. Service was attentive and very good. Nice bar area, expansive dining room, tables not on top of each other, and overall pretty good. This is a nice, local, Italian place to go to for a good, reliable meal. From the appetizers to the pasta, fish and so on -- all was good, and everyone liked it. They've added a lot to the menu -- some interesting twists and flair -- new sauces, combinations, etc.

Like I said, overall, a nice meal, nice experience and if I were in the area, I'd have no problem going back -- and I say that knowing, that in my opinion, there are several good "Italian" dining options/alternatives in the area. I wouldn't compare this to any of the others. Depending on what you are looking for, this could be a nice option.
