I'm thinking of buying a 2.7 qt Fissler saucepan. However I read on another thread that disc bottoms aren't great for a coil stove..I personally feel my coil stove changes temp pretty quickly but maybe I'm just ignorant to anything better.
I have two large Silga teknika pot that I use for soup and I get good results with them. I would be using the Fissler mainly for cooking rice and boiling water for single portions of noodles. I like having a hevy-bottomed pot for cooking brown rice, so that's mainly why I'm buying this and because my current noodle boiling pot is not quite tall enough to prevent water splashing over on occasion.
I'd appreciate any advice!
