DishDash a big splash

Lovely little Mediterranean place in Sunnyvale, DishDash places its emphasis on fresh ingrediants and flawless preparation and presentation. I had a wrap with fresh grilled whitemeat chicken and fresh uncooked veggies coated with yogurt sauce wrapped snugly in a grilled pita. The flavors were bright and had a light touch. The hummus was presented correctly on a cold flat saucer with a small pool of glowing olive oil at its epicenter. The other dish ordered was Sambusak Dajaja, a delicious filo wrapped chicken and mushroom construction with a simple spinach sauce.

This fusion joint gets it right--don't abandon your culinary roots to please the masses...be uncompromising and work only to refine what you know already works..
