I had dinner there a few weeks ago and found it only mediocre...except for Ceasar salad, which was awful. Tried again last night. Once again, the place was packed. Nice bread and olive spread on the table. We started with burrata and organic cherry tomato salad, which they split for us in the kitchen. The burrata was delicious but the tomatoes were flavorless. My friend had squid ink pasta with seafood--bland and mushy. I had pasta with brocolli and sausage. The brocolli was severely overcooked and not too fresh. Sauce was oversalted and had no discernible flavor. Pieces of Italian sausage were fine. Pasta was "homemade," but didn't have that wonderful, chewy al dente texture. We declined dessert.
They had a large group who were all leaving at same time we were, so it took 20 minutes to get our car.
All in all, not a good meal.
