Dinners with Grandma

Marya | Mar 27, 2003 11:04 AM

Okay, here’s the deal – grandma, aunt and uncle are visiting DC for the first time and we want to take them to a few restaurants while they’re in town, but said grandma has set out so many dining restrictions that we are at a loss for ideas...

Unfortunate limitations:
-- can’t be too “exotic” (regrettably, grandma won’t eat much beyond seafood, pasta and Chinese)
-- can’t be too pricey ($15-20 a person (w/out wine) tops)
-- can’t be too noisy (grandma can’t hear very well)
-- can’t be hole-in-the-wall atmosphere (grandma not a fan)
-- must be metro-accessible (and preferably in DC)

A challenge, so many thanks!!
