dinner at Violet

Just had dinner at Violet last night, and it was underwhelming. There is zero ambiance, the noise level equals a 747 taking off, the prices are very reasonable, but there is a good reason, you have to order two main courses to get filled up. Appetizers, We had goat cheese wantons, (dried out, and not filled up enough)
Salmon tart, (which was good) mushroom raviolis,(again, could have been good but were tough and dried out) the busboy knocked over wine glass, and it took about 10 minutes of dripping wine before anyone cleaned it up, and no one from the waiter to management came by to say sorry, or offer a dessert or anything to appease. Entree was short ribs and wasabi mashed potatoes, both good, but about 4 oz of meat and 4 tablespoons of potatoes. Will not be returning.
