dinner suggestions after Boudin Museum (Fisherman's Wharf)?

rollin'jagaimo | Sep 1, 200512:16 PM

My friend invited me to a Camp Bread party at the Boudin Museum next Friday, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a restaurant in the Fisherman's Wharf area. (I think we'll have a car, so transportation will not be a problem.) I know that the Wharf is a tourist trap, and would like to get out of that area.

We thought about going to Minako in the Mission district, since she's never been, but we're probably going to have a group of 6-9 people, and I didn't think that would be an appropriate size for a small restaurant. The last time I went, the food was memorable (highly recommend the 'omakase') but I don't think they'll be able to accomodate a larger group of people.

I'm open to any suggestions. (Preferably no burrito or pizza joints.) Budget will probably be approx.$30 per person, and we are not picky eaters. We probably won't make it out of the museum until 8pm or so, so preferably a restaurant that doesn't close too early.
