Dinner drink

I have never put much thought into having anything but cold beer with boiled seafood such as crawfish,crabs and shrimp, however, I hear more and more people comment on eating these with a wine. Any quick lesson on what goes best with what wine? Raw oyster also if you will/ Thank you for the time.
