My husband and I will be at the Boulders for the Independence Day weekend. Since our friends live in Phoenix and supposedly know the restaurant scene, we usually let them pick the place when we visit. And we usually end up someplace with mediocre food and matching service.
This time, we want to take them to dinner and eat well. There are several restaurants at the Boulders and one of them is supposed to be pretty special - The Latilla. We don't need to break the bank, but don't mind spending money on really good food and good service. And we don't need to stay at the hotel. We could go to Scottsdale or downtown Phoenix or anywhere in the general area.
We'll eat American, Italian, French, Japanese, Indian, whatever.
