Dinner at Bacco

I just ate at Bacco, an Italian place in Noe Valley (someone else was paying *big happy grin*). Had a well prepared marinated salmon appetizer with capers and fennel, but what I really enjoyed were the firm and slightly crunchy and very livery calf livers (fegato) that was nicely served with a balsamic reduction sauce and sweet sauteed onions. Got the mango and raspberry panna cotta for dessert - pretty good - very soft and creamy, unlike the firm, wobbly versions elsewhere.
