dining in Phnom Penh

I haven't seen any posts for restaurants in Cambodia. Phnom Penh has some excellent places:

I like the Amok Cafe and Khmer Surin for Thai/Cambodian food. Lots of foreigners eat there. Prices fine.

Atmosphere is an excellent French restaurant (not very cheap)

Comme A La Maison is also an excellent French restaurant. (not cheap)

The Garden Cafe is consistently very good -- Good Cambodian food and good Western food. Check out their fabulous weekend Western breakfasts! Well priced and excellent quality.

Topaz is also not bad, but in recent years I foud one may need to be very careful about being overcharged.

I like to go for a drink during the day or early evening at the Foreign Correspondence Club -- the food is also good albeit not cheap.

Java Café and Gallery is very good (up some stairs).

"Friends" is excellent and supports a charity.

Riverhouse (on the river) is really very fine... this is the place for dinner for two for an anniversary.
