Restaurants & Bars

dining alone in Lisbon

tummyache | Nov 15, 2008 10:13 PM

I'm coming to Lisbon for three nights this coming week and will be there by myself before leaving to play music on a cruiseship. Can anyone recommend restaurants that will be casual enough for me to feel comfortable eating by myself? I'll eat most anything, love seafood (and definitely want to have some while I'm there), and tend to prefer more low key places with great food to fancier Michelin-starred ones. I'd prefer moderately priced restaurants. I am staying in the Bairro Alto area but will gladly travel for anything great. also, any advice for a good Port to buy or a good store to find good port (I read something on the board about a Port Institute...)
