I'm way out ahead (or so I'd like to think) on this, but knowing that some reservations need to be made months (years??) in advance, I'm trying to put this to bed sooner rather than later. I am going to be in Paris in May, arriving on Thursday, May 1st and we are staying in the 7th. I am shooting for 2 "blow-out" dinners when we arrive and when we leave and then nice, but "affordable" dinners in between. Wanted at least one seafood restaurant and balance between the 7th, 5th, 6th and 4th. Here is what I've come up with so far:
Thursday: Violin d'Ingres
Friday: Bofinger (post-Opera)
Saturday: Fables de la Fontaine
Monday: Le Comptoir du Relais (we've got reservations already!)
Tuesday: Le Pamphlet
Wednesday: L'Astrance (assuming lightning strikes and I can get a reservation).
Others that are on my list for the "affordable" meals are:
Le Clos De Gourmets
Dome Du Marais
Ze Kitchen Galerie
Assuming L'Astrance doesn't work out, I was thinking of Helene Darroze but would welcome other suggestions. I'd prefer not to break the 200 Euro per person mark.
Thanks to all in advance and sorry for the long post.
