Hello all. We dined this past Saturday evening on Forbes Island. A short ferry ride ($3) to the man made island, which really wasn't that far off the pier. You step down into the restaurant designed to resemble the inside of a ship. Small portholes let in some natural light. Full bar and a fireplace. Attentive wait staff. I must admit, I did find the decor to be somewhat Disney-ish. I kept thinking I'd hear "yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me" any minute. I do have to say that the food was excellent though. I had filet mignon with truffled demi glace. Lobster and ricotta ravioli with goats milk sauce. Even the coffee was rich. We had 3 glasses of wine, 2 starters, 2 entrees and 2 coffees - with tax and tip $175. I don't know that I'd go again. The decor for me, left something to be desired but the food was wonderful.
