A New Dim Sum Restaurant Discovery

Hi everyone, I've been a long time reader but I haven't thought of recommending anything until now. A couple of days ago, I've discovered a great dim sum restaurant in Scarborough. Though it is far from the many other Chinese dim sum restaurants, like in downtown Toronto and even in Markham, I still think it's one of the best.

The restaurant is called "Twins Seafood Restaurant" and is located at 240 Alton Towers Circle
Unit A7 & A8
Scarborough
M1V 3Z3
Tel: (416) 332-8965

Check out mapquest if you need directions on how to get there. The only way I remember how to get there was that it was near a supermarket called "Big Land Farm?," again I'm not too sure. Sorry for that.

My two favourite dim sum dishes were the salt and pepper shrimp and the sweetened condensed milk custard. All this is loosely translated. And if I got the names wrong, please someone correct me on this.

Service was wonderful. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the dishes you marked off but I received my dishes quite quickly. And when one of the waitresses didn't have that particular side sauce with our dish, she immediately told someone else and they came by and offer us some. Staff was very friendly and because I went there on a Thursday and before noon, the cost of 10 dim sum dishes plus tea came out to under $22. All I have to say is that I'm going to return to this restaurant very soon.

Hope you enjoy,
Margaret
