Dim sum at Louie's

Finally made it there. Very warm greeting at the door, manager Ken is the consummate host. No cart service (because of step down dining area); you order from a menu with many choices. Once a while a tray-bearer comes by with a few selections.
The Ha Gow was exemplary; the s&p bass perfect; xlb was juicy; chicken feet didn't look as good as it tasted; naw my gai could have used a little more seasoning; taro balls were tasty and flaky, not at all heavy. A dish of calamari was tasty but overfried. There may have more but memory fails. The room is calm, without the tension and noise of the big d/s halls and the service is superb. Bonus: There was a 10% discount on nearly all d/s items!
