I will be in Toronto for a long weekend in September. Most of the meals will be determined by the business colleagues who will be our hosts, but we do have a free Sunday (all day). A couple of us are thinking of driving down to what our Toronto hosts describe as
"Niagra wine country" I will be the driver, and with me will be a starving student whom I'm sure will gladly go wherever I want, as long as I pay
I'm thinking dim sum, and then the drive. Will we have time for both? Is the "wine country" they discuss near Niagra Falls? Is this a stupid question? (probably). Is the area worth visiting? Are the wines worth drinking? Can we do it and the falls fairly easily? My companion has not been to Niagra Falls and I'm sure would enjoy seeing it....
I remember having wonderful dim sum there years ago, but can't for the life of me remember where. What are the latest dim sum "hot spots"?
Also, someone here mentioned a Gujarati restaurant in Toronto not too long ago. I saved the name, but my computer crashed recently and I can't find the notes. Care to repost?
Thanks for putting up with all my questions....
