A leading article in last week's "Annals of Internal Medicine" a prestigious medical journal, concludes that consumption of saturated fats such as those found in butter, eggs, animal fat etc.etc. does NOT lead to increased incidence of vascular disease and heart attacks.
It's the carbohydrates that are the apparent villains.
So when you have toast and butter for breakfast, it's not the butter that will kill you, it's the bread!!!
