desperate for thick pizza in brooklyn

My wife and I are going through hell trying to find some nice, thick, chewy, very saucy pizza in NYC. I know its heresy in this town, but we just can't stand that thin, crunchy, burnt crust stuff with like 2 dollops of sauce that they serve at all the famous pizza joints that everyone recommends.

We both grew up in the burbs, where every town has a locale pizza parlor where the crusts are thick and chewy, there's so much sauce it drips all over your shirt, and the cheese is so gooey it takes 45 minutes to cool down enough to eat.

Can someone help us find such a pizza in NYC - preferably brooklyn (we're in ft greene)?!?
