Desperate for authentic Thai/any Burmese

There will be a personal essay at the end about why I need to know this but first, the question:

Does anyone know of any REAL Thai food in Boston or the metro area? I am looking for a searing-hot experience with fish sauce. I want to SEE the dried shrimp, I want ground roasted rice on my beef salad. I want a Tom Yum based on fresh shrimp stock over a thatch of lemongrass and giant chunks of ginger...... Or really just the best place around there. If anyone is familar with NYC, I would like it to compare to Sripappathai (spelled wrong, most likely) in Queens. Any ideas? Is there a Thai neighborhood or a suburb with a big Thai population in Boston?

The reason that I need to know this is that I'm a former New Yorker, currently living in Moscow, Russia, and planning a wedding this summer in Southboro, MA, where my parents live. I would like to explore the possibility of catering through a local Thai restaurant. My fiance and I are absoloutely crazy Asian cooks and dinner-party throwers and it breaks my heart that I can't cook at my own wedding. Unable to do that, I so dearly want to approve of the food. Help me, please!!

Our other big specialty is Burmese, particularly a ginger salad, and a chicken curry. Does anyone know of ANY Burmese restaurants?

Thank you. I know I can't contribute anything back to the Boston board, but if anyone plans to travel to Russia.... ask me where to eat.
