Demeyere Silver7 is a Sur La Table exclusive. Centurylife.org says the following about Silver7:

"As of July 2016, Demeyere also sells a Sur La Table exclusive called Demeyere Silver7 which is the same thing as Demeyere Atlantis and Proline, except with uglier lids and handles and double-walled (i.e., slightly better insulated) lids a la the Demeyere John Pawson line. The Demeyere Silver7 cladded (not disc-base) pans also have rims sealed with stainless steel. This means that there is almost no exposed aluminum layer at the rim of the pan. In theory this means you can use even the harshest dishwasher detergents with these pans and not have the aluminum layer eaten away by the detergent. But it could just be a marketing stunt, because many people have used cladded pans with exposed aluminum (such as All-Clad) for decades in dishwashers without problems."

This makes it sound like Silver7 is the same as Atlantis with a slight functional improvement (double walled lids, little or no exposed aluminum rim). But a slight aesthetic downgrade. I've seen it in stores and don't actually agree that the handles and lids are uglier.

Does anyone have anymore info on Silver7 versus Atlantis? W-S botched my Atlantis sauté pan order, so I am back to the search for one . . . .
