I stayed in downtown Denver for a week in September. The first morning we were walking around the 16 Street mall area for breakfast, sort of heading for the Corner Bakery. On the way we passed The Delectable Egg, perused their menu and went in. What a great find! Very nice, very clean, excellent service and terrific food. I was with my sister, niece and niece's boyfriend and between the 4 of us, we sampled quite a few of their dishes over the course of the week. Everything we ordered was served promptly and was excellent. My favorites were the frittatas and the crepes (Quiche Lorraine crepes were outstanding). The food was ready usually within 8-10 minutes after ordering and served piping hot. And the coffee was outstanding!
We ate at the Court Street location which is just down the street from The Brown Palace. This was a great way to start our mornings during a really fabulous vacation in Denver.
