December 2006 Cookbook of the Month: Baking From My Home to Yours

redwood2bay | Dec 2, 200603:47 AM     1

Welcome to the general discussion thread for the December 2006 Cookbook of the Month, Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan. Use this thread to make general comments about the cookbook or discuss the whole cookbook-of-the-month idea. This would also be a great place to suggest future cookbooks.

This month, there is one thread for recipe selection, links, and previous picks and pans. I've combined the usual two threads into one because discussing which recipe to make seems to lead to a natural discussion of recipes folks have already tried, and vice versa. Here is the link for the recipe thread:

To post a full-length review of any recipe, please select the appropriate thread below. This month, there is one thread per chapter.

You may wish to bookmark this thread since it has links to all the other threads for the December cookbook of the month.

Finally, the Chowhound Team has asked me to remind you that verbatim copying of recipes to the boards is a violation of the copyright of the original author. Posts with copied recipes will be removed.
