Deathride: Durham/Chapel Hill on Commencement Weekend

Naco | Apr 27, 201509:42 AM

Yeah. I'm looking for somewhere to eat near the Doubletree Suites in Durham on 8 May (Friday evening). Parameters:

1. Must be child friendly.

2. Should have a reasonable wait time due to #1. I'm not so interested in eating at some special place, rather in getting something reasonably tasty and not a fast-food grease bomb.

3. Needs to have some decent veggies. I want a salad or something with the meal.

4. Nothing too spicy or heavily spiced like Thai or Indian. I saw a couple of nearby options in that vein, but they aren't going to work for this particular occasion.

I thought of Sarah's Empanadas, which I ate at eons ago and liked, but IIRC it's lunch-only. Any thoughts? Or should I pack this idea away and pack a sandwich?
