I got a good deal on a piece of London Broil recently. We looked up a marinade on the web - no less than 4 sites recommended the same "best" London broil marinade recipe. It was just ok in our opinion: a little sour from the citrus, and a bit salty. Nothing I'm writing home about.. And, although we marinaded for the specified amount of time, it didn't do much in terms of soaking into the meat. Kinda dull, overall.
so i realize that London broil is, by nature, fat free and thus, less flavorful and perhaps a bit chewy. What do all you Chowhounders do with it normally? I don't usually buy it, but if i had better ideas, I'd love to be able to get this cut of meat since I often see it on sale.
