DC Chinese-ish in NYC?

Laura | Mar 20, 2005 01:10 PM

When we were in DC we ate at Eat Right in Chinatown, and it was our favorite Chinese restaurant anywhere ever! We had a claypot eggplant dish, almost a little Indian in style to us, and a wonderful big fat Singapore noodle dish, a little Thai in stye (but better, and not greasy like so many real Thai restaurants). Is anyone familiar with this restaurant in DC who can recommend a comparable restaurant in NYC? We don't get to NYC that often and have never found such good Chinese-ish fare there (our favorites in NYC, though they are very different from Eat Right, are Congee Village, because the menu is such fun, and Golden Unicorn and Dim Sum Go Go, both for dim sum).

I will cross point this message on the DC board.
