Does anyone know how Davis Sq. McKinnon's sources their meat? An "ethical omnivore" wants to know.

They're obviously not an organic, grass-fed, boutique kind of place but I have heard that most of their meat is local, which probably makes it somewhat better ethically than your standard supermarket meat (certainly in terms of food miles). Does anybody have any information on this?
