Our DAT experience at Ruth Chris' Steakhouse

Cindy | Jan 24, 200812:14 PM     6

We went here Saturday night - the food was mostly good (we ordered the Porterhouse for two off the DAT menu, as well as the carpaccio off the regular menu) although it got off to a not-so-good start.

Our reservation was at 5:30pm; we entered the restaurant a few minutes early. After waiting about 5 minutes, our party of 2 was escorted into the largest dining area - to the table right next to the restrooms! I asked, in disbelief since the restaurant was only 1/3 full at that early hour, if this was the only table they had. The host asked me "Did you make a special request?" No, but I would have, if I had known you'd lead me to this table! He then escorted us to another table in one of the smaller dining rooms.

Thank goodness the rest of the service was great that evening. I still think it was very odd that he led us directly to that table.
