(Dallas) (Garland) Walnut-Jupiter Asian mall & Salvadoran Pupusas?

john clark | Jul 9, 200308:28 AM     1

I finally made it out to the big Asian mall at Walnut and Jupiter in Garland. It's actually near my house but I just don't eat out much. I had a fine bowl of Pho Tai Nam at Pho Saigon (they are a chain with two locations in Houston and one in Sugarland). The broth was richer than any I've had since the little joint in my neighborhood shut down. Cha Gio was okay -- greasy as it should be, nice sauce, but not extraordinary.

Does anyone have any advice for my next trip out that way? Is any one noodle house a standout, or are there don't-miss dishes or things to look for at the big market? How's the Pupusa place?
