Did take out a couple of days ago and these are my impressions. Clean and simple, nice looking decor with some narrow counters to stand and eat at, although most people take out. The food came quickly and business seemed brisk. The guy who was either an owner or a good manager was very solicitous and clearly wanted the customers to have a good experience. When I came back in to order more sides since they turned out to be a little on the small side, he just gave me a couple of extras without charge. We ordered the Memphis dry rub ribs, the Kansas City Sweet ribs, sweet potatoes, baked beans, and ice teas. The sides were really good, particularly the sweet potatoes, although the baked beans, with several types of beans and burnt ends, were very good as well. The ice tea in glass mason jars was very good as well. Unfortunately, neither of the ribs were all that good. In terms of presentation, they looked like good ribs should look. They were not greasy and the meat came off the bone reasonably well. However, the dry rub was dull and and a little too caked on and neither of the ribs was particularly tangy or smokey. The sauce on the sweet ribs was not particularly assertive one way or another. Perhaps given time they will get better.
