Da Toscano opened a couple of weeks ago on Minetta Lane, in the space that was last occupied by Perla. We had a wonderful dinner the other night, and will surely be back many times.
The minestra was delicious, as were crudos of trout and razor clams. The pork chop and veal head parmigiana were fabulous and massive, and cheese cake was done very well.
This is creative Italian at its best.
