I ate at the Curry Shop last night (5th Ave/6th Street in Park Slope), that's attached to Chip Shop. I wanted to see what British-Indian food would be like. It was awful, awful, awful. The "naan" was just like a huge 1-inch thick piece of pita bread. The rice was artifically bright yellow, and the two curries tasted like S***. Perhaps the problem is that I cook Indian food at home, so I know what good Indian food is, and it sure isn't to be found at Curry Shop.
Is that what Indian food is like in England?
