Curry Leaf-Big disappointment!

I find it hard to complain about a restaurant, let alone post negative comments. But after throwing away $40.00 on a very disappointing meal, I feel compelled to write.
We were in the Lexington Ave and 27th St. area so we thought we would grab a bite to eat. We usually go to Pongal, but after reading a post that it went downhill a bit, we figured we would try Curry Leaf (which was recommended here).
The somasas (meat) were pretty good. However, my husband thought they tasted more like Jamaican beef patties. We ordered chicken korma and sag paneer. The chicken was good, but skimpy for the $12.00 price. The sag paneer was overly pureed like baby food with a perfumed taste and very little cheese ($10.00). The nan was probably the best thing we had. The keema paratha looked good upon presentation, nicely charred. However, it was soggy and tasteless. The food was heavy, leaving a lead belly feeling in your stomach. All in all, we felt ripped off. I knew we should have walked the extra few blocks to try Dimple.
